We are a direct private lender that focuses on loans between $500,000 and $10 million on properties located in the Northeast United States and Florida. Larger loan sizes and other locations will be considered under certain circumstances. Our underwriting is primarily focused is on the quality of the underlying collateral, experience of the sponsor and the borrower's exit strategy.

Our success depends on the strong relationships within the borrower and brokerage community. We respond to deal requests within 48 hours and closings can take place in three weeks or less. Brokers are always protected!

Principals

Scott Vandersnow is the President of Snowpoint Capital, LLC which he founded in 2014 to provide short-term capital solutions for commercial and investment real estate opportunities. Since its inception, Snowpoint has originated and/or funded in excess of $50 million in private mortgages to borrowers not efficiently served by traditional lenders.

Prior to founding Snowpoint, Mr. Vandersnow spent 14 years on Wall Street serving most recently as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Credit at The PrinceRidge Group. He also served as Co-Head of Capital Markets and the Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Credit during his five-year tenure at PrinceRidge.

Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Mr. Vandersnow worked for nine years in the proprietary trading group at UBS and Dillon Read Capital Management where he was a junior portfolio manager in the High Yield and Distressed areas.

In 1997, Mr. Vandersnow received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

Adam J. Kent has been active in the real estate investments, management and finance business for over 20 years. Since 2003, he has served as a Principal at Real Estate Equities Group, LLC and Real Estate Management Group, LLC. He is responsible for overseeing all acquisitions, dispositions and financing activity for the firm as well as management of its existing portfolio comprised of approximately 1,000 residential units and 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate. Mr. Kent is also a Principal and Founder of East Hill Realty, LLC, a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Prior to joining Snowpoint Capital,  he was  active in the private lending business as a Principal and Founder of Bridge Realty Capital, LLC which he established in 2010.

From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Kent was a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Advisory practice at KPMG, LLP in New York, where he performed due diligence in the acquisition and financing of over $1 billion in institutional real estate transactions.

Prior to KPMG, Mr. Kent was an Assistant Treasurer in the Private Banking Division at The Bank of New York.  Focusing solely on real estate clients, he was responsible for structuring and underwriting credit facilities for real estate owners and developers in the New York metropolitan area. During his tenure, he completed a nine-month intensive credit training program that focused on financial accounting and financial statement analysis.

Mr. Kent is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York and New Jersey.  He previously served on the Advisory Board of both Union Center National Bank (acquired by ConnectOne Bank in 2014) and Lakeland Bank as well as the Board of Directors of the Englewood (NJ) Chamber of Commerce.

In 1996, Mr. Kent received a Bachelor of Science in Management degree in Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
